Yes. Offer an invitation to sing or dance, while making watching a comfortable choice.
Take a quick birthday-child photo first, then invite small groups rather than gathering everyone at once.
Ask our team to confirm the character, visit program, costs and availability.
A birthday gathering in Adams, New York, can feel special without asking every guest to take part at once. Start with the character greeting the birthday child, then let guests choose between joining a short birthday song or watching from their seats. Arrange the first photo with close family before inviting other children into the frame. Leave enough room for a small activity and an easy exit for anyone who needs a quiet break. Ask us about the character visit; confirm the specific program, costs and availability with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
New York State Parks describes a range of pavilion and event rental sizes and amenities. Check the exact facility's capacity, layout and regional booking conditions before choosing a gathering plan. Confirm whether a hired character visit and any equipment are permitted; the statewide rental page does not establish that every activity or date is available.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
