Offer a wave, a brief greeting, or the option to watch. Let each child choose without pressure.
Pick one clear spot and have a camera ready. Invite the birthday child first, then other guests if they want to join.
Not necessarily. Check gathering-space permission with the park and confirm the character visit separately with us.
Ajax, Kentucky, party plans can include an overnight stay or a separate gathering space, but those are different arrangements to check. For the character visit, give the birthday child a choice of greeting, then leave room for photos and a guest activity they can watch or join. Ask us about the requested costume theme and possible program; details, costs, and availability require confirmation. Statewide advice here does not verify Ajax facilities or local event rules.

Kentucky State Parks' FAQ describes reservations for lodge rooms, cottages and campsites. If the plan includes an overnight stay, check the current booking and cancellation conditions for that accommodation. Contact the actual park about separate gathering space and hired entertainment; an overnight reservation does not establish birthday eligibility or event permission.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
