No. Ask us to confirm the character, program details, costs, and availability before making plans.
In Allston, a clear weather plan can keep an outdoor character visit from becoming stressful. Choose one adult to watch conditions and know where the group would move if needed. For the visit itself, give the birthday child the first choice: a wave, a conversation, or a photo. Guests can join a short group pose or remain observers. Confirm a practical route to your backup space with the venue; city facilities and policies have not been verified.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.

National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
