North Little Rock's parks department lists a variety of pavilions in Burns Park that families use for birthdays and other gatherings. The city also has six club houses: two in Burns Park, one in Idlewild Park, two in North Little Rock Riverfront Park, and one in Stone Links Park. Compare an open pavilion with a club house in the same park, since an indoor room may suit a party that needs more space for games and seating.

Ask the venue whether outside entertainers are permitted, what the reservation window is, and whether the space suits a character visit with games or a short show. Ask the character company what visit lengths it offers, and talk through the activities you would like, such as a meet-and-greet, a story or a group game. Plan a backup date in case a pavilion is already booked.
The Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism reports that Arkansas State Parks manages 52 state parks. That statewide count is useful if you are considering a state park rather than a city facility, but each park sets its own booking rules, so confirm details with the park you choose.
