Start with a brief wave or greeting from a comfortable distance. Let the child choose when, or whether, to move closer.
Ask our team about the planned program. A simple group greeting can be optional, with time for individual photos only for children who want them.
No. It is general New York State Parks information. Confirm the exact site's operator, booking process and entertainment rules directly.
In Bridgehampton, New York, a good party plan gives the guest of honor room to warm up before the character greeting. Offer a quiet hello or wave first; let the child decide whether to join a photo or invite other guests over. Keep the organizer's plan focused on the exact space, a simple gathering point and a weather alternative. Ask us about the costume theme, then confirm visit details, costs and availability with our team. Statewide park information can guide questions, but it does not establish local venue permission.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
New York State Parks describes a range of pavilion and event rental sizes and amenities. Check the exact facility's capacity, layout and regional booking conditions before choosing a gathering plan. Confirm whether a hired character visit and any equipment are permitted; the statewide rental page does not establish that every activity or date is available.

National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
