For a character visit in Concord, North Carolina, build the schedule around the time your space actually allows. A gentle opening can be a greeting and a chance for the birthday child to choose a photo or simply watch. Then invite guests into a manageable group activity, without requiring everyone to participate. Check the setting's permitted hours before choosing arrival and departure times. Ask us to confirm the requested theme, program details, cost and availability separately from any facility arrangements.

North Carolina State Parks notes that facilities can have limited hours. Check the exact shelter or room's permitted use period, layout and reservation conditions before setting the entertainer's arrival and departure times. Ask the park about hired entertainment separately; a facility reservation does not establish approval for all party activities.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
