In Deep Run, keep the character visit easy to adapt to the room or gathering space. A friendly hello can lead to a short photo opportunity, with a low-key activity for guests who want to join. Give the birthday child permission to watch first or stay close to a parent. Before confirming the schedule, check the facility's hours and conditions; statewide guidance does not identify local venues or policies. Ask us about the requested character theme and confirm program details, costs and availability with our team.

North Carolina State Parks notes that facilities can have limited hours. Check the exact shelter or room's permitted use period, layout and reservation conditions before setting the entertainer's arrival and departure times. Ask the park about hired entertainment separately; a facility reservation does not establish approval for all party activities.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
