Invite guests to take turns with a wave or one short question. Let the birthday child choose whether to join the group or watch.
Choose one photo spot and have an adult gather the next small group. Leave room for a quiet individual picture with a parent.
Check the venue's hours and activity rules, then ask our team to confirm program details, costs and availability. A request is not a reservation.
A relaxed visit in Dimmette can begin with the character greeting the birthday child by name, then pausing while the child decides whether to answer, wave or stay close to family. Keep the visit's main moment early enough to leave room for photos and a low-pressure group activity. The available facility guidance is statewide, while the weather advice is national; neither verifies a Dimmette venue or local policy. Ask us about the requested costume theme, and confirm program details, costs and availability with our team.

North Carolina State Parks notes that facilities can have limited hours. Check the exact shelter or room's permitted use period, layout and reservation conditions before setting the entertainer's arrival and departure times. Ask the park about hired entertainment separately; a facility reservation does not establish approval for all party activities.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
