Do not assume so. Ask the operator whether the specific reservation permits your gathering and entertainment.
Make watching, waving or greeting from beside a trusted adult equally acceptable choices.
Ask us to confirm the program details, cost and availability for the requested character.
Before planning a character moment in Eagle Crest, make sure the booked space fits the gathering you have in mind. A campsite and a group day-use facility are not automatically interchangeable. With the location clarified, keep the visit manageable: offer the birthday child a quiet hello, a photo beside a familiar adult, or time to watch first. Invite guests into a short shared moment only if they want to join. Ask us to confirm the requested theme, visit format, cost and availability; a planned activity is not a guaranteed inclusion.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Oregon State Parks accepts reservations at parks with reservable group day-use facilities as well as many campgrounds. Check the specific facility and booking conditions rather than treating all parks or campsite reservations as group-event bookings. Ask the operator about hired entertainment and any additional permission before setting the party plan.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
