Begin with the character greeting the whole group. Let the birthday child decide whether to approach, wave, or watch from nearby.
Use one clear spot and guide guests through short turns. Keep the birthday child's preferred adult close at hand.
Offer low-pressure choices such as waving or joining a simple group activity. Ask us to confirm which program ideas are available.
A busy guest list in East Massapequa can still leave room for a personal character moment. Let the birthday child choose a comfortable way to greet the visitor, then use a clear photo spot and a brief optional activity to keep the group moving. Before booking a gathering space, check its capacity and conditions directly. New York resources offer statewide guidance, not verified local facilities or policies. Ask us about the requested theme and confirm all visit details, costs and availability.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
New York State Parks describes a range of pavilion and event rental sizes and amenities. Check the exact facility's capacity, layout and regional booking conditions before choosing a gathering plan. Confirm whether a hired character visit and any equipment are permitted; the statewide rental page does not establish that every activity or date is available.

National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
