Let them wave or watch beside a trusted adult. A gentle visit gives each child room to decide whether to join.
Pick a clear spot and offer a brief photo moment with the birthday child. Make guest photos optional and manageable.
Verify hours, setup conditions and permission for hired entertainment. Confirm requested-theme program details, cost and availability with our team.
For a gathering in Ellerbe, make the schedule work for the children and the facility alike. Check the allowed use period first, then leave enough room for a calm greeting, the birthday child's moment and optional guest photos. Children can participate by waving or watching from the sidelines. These are statewide planning checks, not verified Ellerbe venues or local policies. Ask us about a character theme and confirm program details, cost and availability with our team.

North Carolina State Parks notes that facilities can have limited hours. Check the exact shelter or room's permitted use period, layout and reservation conditions before setting the entertainer's arrival and departure times. Ask the park about hired entertainment separately; a facility reservation does not establish approval for all party activities.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
