No. Offer a photo as one choice alongside waving or watching. Follow the child's lead and keep the visit enjoyable without requiring a close greeting.
Tell them roughly when the character will arrive and where photos will happen. Ask an adult to help children take turns and leave room for breaks.
No. Ask us about the character theme and possible visit plan. Program details, cost, and availability need confirmation; an inquiry does not reserve a date.
A birthday in Escobares can feel more relaxed when the character visit has a clear beginning and a flexible finish. Offer the child a quiet hello or wave first, then let them decide about a photo. Guests can join a brief group moment or take turns without rushing. Give the organizer one simple job: share the schedule and the child's preferences with the character team before the party. For any state park facility, confirm the booking process and party permissions directly. These are statewide planning checks, not verified Escobares venues or local policies.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Texas Parks and Wildlife directs visitors to reserve group facilities by phone rather than assuming every booking can be completed online. Check the current process for the exact group facility and describe the gathering and hired entertainment to the park. A phone reservation route does not establish that the proposed party activity is eligible or available.

National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
