Yes. Offer watching, waving or joining the activity as equal choices, and avoid calling on children unexpectedly.
Choose one uncluttered photo spot and let children take turns with a familiar adult nearby.
Ask us about character, program options, timing, cost and availability; none are guaranteed until confirmed.
A quieter visit can suit a birthday in Est de Balseiro: begin with the character greeting the group while seated children watch from a familiar spot. Invite the birthday child to choose between a wave and a photo, then offer guests a simple, optional activity. Leave room for breaks rather than packing the visit with transitions. Ask us to confirm the requested character, format, schedule, cost and availability before planning around them. No city facilities or local policies have been verified; contact the venue you select for its rules.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
Official source (opens in a new tab)Choose an adult to monitor the forecast and decide when to move the group indoors. National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
