In Fig, North Carolina, build the party timeline around the confirmed facility hours rather than hoping the visit can run late. A compact program can begin with a greeting, leave space for a few photos and end with a simple choice for guests to participate or watch. Tell the birthday child what will happen before the character arrives, and let them stay near a familiar adult. Check the location's rules and arrange an indoor weather backup if outdoors. Ask us about program details, cost and availability.

North Carolina State Parks notes that facilities can have limited hours. Check the exact shelter or room's permitted use period, layout and reservation conditions before setting the entertainer's arrival and departure times. Ask the park about hired entertainment separately; a facility reservation does not establish approval for all party activities.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
