Forbes Park families can plan a character visit around the space as well as the children. Before settling on games or a character entrance, check the chosen area's surface, seating, shade and access directly with its operator. Then keep the visit simple: a friendly greeting, an optional group moment and time for photos. Local facilities and policies are not verified here. Send us your date request and basic party outline so our team can discuss program details, costs and availability.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife explains that group-area amenities vary by state park. Check the actual shelter, surface, seating and access arrangements for the chosen group area before planning games or a character entrance. Ask the park about the proposed hired entertainment and any event procedures; listed amenities do not establish approval or availability.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
