The City of Fort Collins lists field and shelter reservations across its parks system, so a shelter is one option to explore for a daytime party. City Park Shelter #7 sits south of the ballfields and west of the irrigation ditch and is listed with a capacity of 150 people. Before booking, confirm that the shelter fits your guest count, whether the space can be reserved for your time, and whether the park allows outside entertainers.

Foothills Activity Center is a three-level recreation facility inside Foothills Mall, with a gymnasium, workout rooms and classrooms. A gym or classroom can suit a party that needs more room or protection from weather. Ask the facility what spaces are available for private rentals, what the rules are for outside entertainment, and how the room can be set up for a character visit.

Ask whether the venue permits outside costumed entertainers, whether a bounce house or other rentals are allowed, and what the setup and cleanup expectations are. If you are planning an outdoor party, ask about a dependable indoor backup in case the weather changes. Choosing the character and theme is easier once you know which space you have.
