Ask the venue or city staff whether outside entertainers are allowed in the space you reserve, and whether there are any rules about sound, setup time or music. Confirm how much time you will have in the space and whether any tables, chairs or electrical access are included. Once those answers are clear, you can choose a character and decide whether the visit will be a short celebration or a longer, more involved party.
Discuss with the character what the party needs: a short greeting and photos, a group activity such as a song or game, or a longer visit with more interaction. The activities are options to talk through together rather than a fixed set. Tell the character about the birthday child's interests and the age range of the guests so the visit fits the group.
