Let the birthday child choose whether to pose and invite guests to join in small groups. Watching from nearby is also a fine choice.
Share where to gather and when the character moment is planned. Mention that children may participate at their own pace.
No. Check the exact facility's capacity, layout, booking conditions and permission for hired entertainment before making plans.
At a Grassy Point party, give the character visit a clear focal point without asking every child to perform. The birthday child can choose a greeting and a photo pose, then invite guests to join a group picture or simply watch. Keep the gathering area uncluttered so families can move through the moment comfortably. Before settling on a shelter-style plan, the organizer should check the specific facility's size, layout and rules. Ask us to confirm visit choices, cost and availability; program details need confirmation.

New York State Parks describes a range of pavilion and event rental sizes and amenities. Check the exact facility's capacity, layout and regional booking conditions before choosing a gathering plan. Confirm whether a hired character visit and any equipment are permitted; the statewide rental page does not establish that every activity or date is available.

National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
