Offer the birthday child a choice of a solo photo, a caregiver beside them or a group picture. Watching is also fine.
Share the planned visit window and any timing limits you learn from the facility. Ask our team to confirm program details, costs and availability.
Not necessarily. Check the facility's rules directly and confirm the character visit separately.
A Harmony character visit can work best when its timing leaves room for children to warm up and take part without hurry. Start with a friendly greeting, then let the birthday child choose a photo, a wave or a little time to watch. Invite guests to join a simple group moment, with no pressure to perform. Before choosing a start time, ask the facility about its permitted use period and layout. Ask us about character program ideas, costs and availability, and share the planned arrival and departure times so the visit can be discussed around your schedule.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
North Carolina State Parks notes that facilities can have limited hours. Check the exact shelter or room's permitted use period, layout and reservation conditions before setting the entertainer's arrival and departure times. Ask the park about hired entertainment separately; a facility reservation does not establish approval for all party activities.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
