A comfortable character visit in Harrison, New York starts with matching the plan to the exact gathering space. Once you know the layout and conditions, keep the visit focused: a warm greeting, a chance for guests to join in and an optional photo. Let children participate from a seat or beside a caregiver if that feels easier. Ask us about the requested character theme and possible program details; costs and availability must be confirmed. New York State Parks describes a range of pavilion and event rental sizes and amenities. Check the exact facility's capacity, layout and regional booking conditions before choosing a gathering plan. Confirm whether a hired character visit and any equipment are permitted; the statewide rental page does not establish that every activity or date is available.

National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup.
