No. A request does not reserve or pay for a visit. Confirm the program, costs, and availability with our team.
For a party along Highway in Kentucky, make the visit easy to follow: a warm hello, a birthday-child photo if they want one, and an optional activity for the group. Children can watch first or join later. If an overnight stay is part of the plan, do not assume that lodging arrangements also approve a birthday gathering or hired entertainment. Prepare a clear meeting point and backup plan for the adults helping. Ask us about the requested character; confirm program details, costs, and availability.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Kentucky State Parks' FAQ describes reservations for lodge rooms, cottages and campsites. If the plan includes an overnight stay, check the current booking and cancellation conditions for that accommodation. Contact the actual park about separate gathering space and hired entertainment; an overnight reservation does not establish birthday eligibility or event permission.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
