Keep a trusted adult nearby and let the child observe before deciding whether to say hello. A wave can be their whole part in the moment.
Choose one group-photo moment, then invite small groups or pairs for individual turns. Ask the organizer to keep the area around the character clear.
No. The space and entertainment are separate arrangements. Confirm the pavilion with its operator and visit details, costs and availability with our team.
For Klines Corner, build the party around one small moment the birthday child can choose: a wave, a quick hello or a photo with family. Guests can join in a shared greeting, then take turns asking a question if the child enjoys the visit. Ask us about the requested character theme and program ideas; confirm details, costs and availability with our team. If you are considering a state park pavilion, keep its booking confirmation separate from the character visit arrangements. These are statewide planning checks, not verified Klines Corner venues or policies.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Pennsylvania DCNR publishes payment conditions for confirmed state park picnic pavilion reservations. Check the current confirmation and cancellation process before treating a requested date as secured. Confirm the exact pavilion, access and permission for hired entertainment with its operator; the pavilion payment and the entertainer's quote are separate arrangements.

National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup.
