A Lafayette, Ohio party can feel organized without asking every guest to participate in the same way. Begin with a gentle character greeting, then offer a choice between a short group activity and a photo moment. Let the birthday child take time to warm up. If the gathering is outdoors, identify an accessible indoor backup and decide who will monitor the weather. These are statewide planning checks, not verified Lafayette venues or policies. Confirm venue conditions and permission for hired entertainment before finalizing the schedule.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
