No. Ask us to confirm the program details, costs, and availability with our team.
Keep a Lakeshore character visit simple enough for children to settle in: a friendly hello, a brief shared activity, and an optional photo can be plenty. Let the birthday child choose whether to approach or stay with a familiar adult. Give guests a clear way to participate without calling on anyone. If considering a state-managed property, identify the exact operator and ask about the specific gathering space before making plans. Ask us about program ideas, costs, and availability; confirm details with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Florida DEP describes the Florida Park Service and links to its state park information. Identify the exact state-managed property, then ask about the relevant group facility, reservation process and operating conditions. Describe hired entertainment to the operator before booking; the agency overview does not establish birthday eligibility, permission or availability at a particular park.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
