They can watch, wave or greet the character with a caregiver beside them. Keep the birthday child's moment brief and let them choose what feels comfortable.
Select a spot with room for the group and ask an adult to gather guests. Offer a birthday-child photo first, then an optional group picture.
Confirm the room, timing and entertainment permission with the venue. Ask us about program details, cost and availability for the requested theme; a date request is not a reservation.
In Landover Hills, prepare a visit that gives the birthday child a clear moment in the spotlight without expecting every guest to join in. A brief hello can lead into photos or a simple group invitation, while children who prefer to watch can stay close to a caregiver. Decide who will gather guests and where the character should enter. Verify the space directly and ask us about the requested theme, program details, cost and availability.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
As a city-scoped example within Maryland, Baltimore city recreation centers provide room rental information. Baltimore directs families to their recreation center for room rental information. Check the actual room capacity, permitted entertainment and setup time rather than assuming any recreation center can host the same program. This example applies only to Baltimore's listed municipal facilities; other cities and state-managed parks have separate operators and rules. Confirm the exact venue's reservation process and permission for hired entertainment.

National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
