A short greeting and wave give children time to get comfortable. Let them decide whether to approach.
Set aside a clear spot and invite children in small groups. Make posing optional and allow a quick turn.
Check the pavilion operator's current reservation process. Separately confirm the character's program, cost and availability with our team.
A character visit in Leibeyville can work well as a brief feature rather than the whole party schedule. Let children meet the character with a wave or hello, then choose whether to join a simple shared activity or watch. Keep the photo moment flexible so children can take turns or pass. If you are looking at an outdoor state park pavilion, check the reservation status and operator's rules before finalizing the plan. Ask us to confirm the requested character, visit program, cost and availability; these are not set by the venue.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Pennsylvania DCNR publishes payment conditions for confirmed state park picnic pavilion reservations. Check the current confirmation and cancellation process before treating a requested date as secured. Confirm the exact pavilion, access and permission for hired entertainment with its operator; the pavilion payment and the entertainer's quote are separate arrangements.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
