Yes. A short hello and optional photo can be enough; children can decide whether to take part.
Choose a spot with room for a few people and assign one adult to take pictures.
No. It is not a reservation or payment. Ask our team to confirm details and availability.
In Lyons Falls, a small, clear plan can help the birthday child feel in control of a character visit. Start with a hello from a comfortable distance, then let the child choose a photo or invite a few guests to join. Ask us about the requested character theme and visit format; program details, costs and availability must be confirmed. Before the party, decide where children can watch without blocking the greeting area, and ask a trusted adult to manage turns.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
New York State Parks describes a range of pavilion and event rental sizes and amenities. Check the exact facility's capacity, layout and regional booking conditions before choosing a gathering plan. Confirm whether a hired character visit and any equipment are permitted; the statewide rental page does not establish that every activity or date is available.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
