For a Mercer, Wisconsin gathering, keep the character's visit easy to follow: a warm group hello, a special moment for the birthday child and an optional photo. Children who need more time can watch or join from beside a grown-up. The organizer can avoid a crowded entrance by choosing a clear spot and letting guests know when to gather. When you contact us, share the child's age, guest count, location plan and preferred character. Ask our team to confirm the visit activities, costs and availability before treating any detail as settled.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Wisconsin DNR describes the reservable picnic shelter at its MacKenzie Center and its booking route through the State Parks reservation system. Treat this as one state-managed facility example: check the actual shelter, nearby facilities and conditions with the operator. Confirm permission for a hired character visit; the listing does not establish rules for every Wisconsin park.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
