No. Ask us about the requested character and confirm program details, costs and availability before planning around them.
For a New Hartfd, New York celebration, first picture how the birthday child wants to meet the character: a quiet hello, a wave or a photo with a parent close by. A short shared activity can follow, with guests invited to join rather than singled out. Before choosing a rental setup, think about where the group will gather and how the character can greet the child without a crowd forming. Ask us about the requested theme; program details, costs and availability need confirmation. Statewide planning checks are parent suggestions, not verified city venue policies.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
New York State Parks describes a range of pavilion and event rental sizes and amenities. Check the exact facility's capacity, layout and regional booking conditions before choosing a gathering plan. Confirm whether a hired character visit and any equipment are permitted; the statewide rental page does not establish that every activity or date is available.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
