Let the character greet the birthday child first, with a trusted adult nearby. A wave can be enough.
Offer a simple group photo or optional activity, while making it fine to watch instead.
Confirm the venue's rules, the indoor route and the visit schedule. Ask us about program details, costs and availability.
For a North Robinson gathering, keep the character visit easy to follow: one warm greeting for the birthday child, a family photo, then an optional activity for guests who want to join. Before the party, choose an adult to watch the forecast and make the move indoors if needed. Statewide planning guidance does not verify city venues, reservations or local rules. Check the location's permission and route to the backup space, and ask our team to confirm the theme-provider program, costs and availability.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.

National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
