Let the child watch first and choose whether to greet the character later. Avoid making a close interaction a condition of joining.
Invite them to offer a birthday wish or join one simple movement, with watching as an equally welcome option.
Choose a responsible adult before guests arrive, and confirm the indoor route with the venue operator.
In Ordot, give the birthday child time to notice the character before inviting a greeting. A parent can stay close while the child chooses a wave, a spoken hello or a later photo. Keep the visit in manageable parts: greeting, birthday moment and one optional activity for guests. Before the party, choose an adult to watch the weather and guide any move indoors. Tell us the requested theme and party setup, then confirm program details, cost and availability with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
Official source (opens in a new tab)Choose an adult to monitor the forecast and decide when to move the group indoors. National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue. This does not establish local permits, shelter reservations or entertainer availability.
