Let the birthday child choose a parent beside them, a group pose, or no close-up photo.
Give the host one clear greeting location and tell guests when the optional photo moment will happen.
No. Theme, program details, costs, and availability need confirmation with our team.
A character visit in Palm Shores can feel easier when the birthday child has a clear, unhurried moment at the start. Consider a greeting, a short pose with close family, then an invitation for other guests to join. No child needs to hug or stand beside the character. Pick a spot with room to gather without blocking the party's main path. When asking us about a theme, include your timing and guest details so our team can confirm the program, costs, and availability.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Florida DEP describes the Florida Park Service and links to its state park information. Identify the exact state-managed property, then ask about the relevant group facility, reservation process and operating conditions. Describe hired entertainment to the operator before booking; the agency overview does not establish birthday eligibility, permission or availability at a particular park.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
