A character visit in Pequea can work well as a short change of pace within a family gathering. Invite the character to greet the guest of honor, pause for a few photos, and offer a simple activity that children may join or simply watch. Keep the route to the greeting spot clear, and ask a familiar adult to help guests take turns. If you are considering an outdoor venue, decide on an indoor alternative before invitations go out. When you contact us, share the planned setting and visit window; program details, costs, and availability need confirmation.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Pennsylvania DCNR publishes payment conditions for confirmed state park picnic pavilion reservations. Check the current confirmation and cancellation process before treating a requested date as secured. Confirm the exact pavilion, access and permission for hired entertainment with its operator; the pavilion payment and the entertainer's quote are separate arrangements.

National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
