A Pleasant Plain, Ohio, character visit is easier to manage when one adult handles the weather plan while another focuses on the child's welcome. Keep the program simple: a friendly hello, an optional activity, and photos only if the child wants them. Share guest needs and the preferred character theme when you ask us about a visit. For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
