No. A date request is not a reservation or payment. Confirm program details, costs and availability with our team.
In Prairie du Sac, a character visit can feel welcoming without putting the birthday child on the spot. Begin with a hello from a comfortable distance, then offer a choice of waving, posing for a photo or joining a short activity. Set aside a little space for family pictures and let other guests participate in turns. If a state-managed picnic shelter is under consideration, check that specific site's amenities and permission with its operator. Share timing and arrival details with our team; confirm program details, costs and availability before planning around them.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Wisconsin DNR describes the reservable picnic shelter at its MacKenzie Center and its booking route through the State Parks reservation system. Treat this as one state-managed facility example: check the actual shelter, nearby facilities and conditions with the operator. Confirm permission for a hired character visit; the listing does not establish rules for every Wisconsin park.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
