Yes. Offer a wave or a chance to watch instead, and let the child decide.
Choose a meeting point and share timing, entrance, and the desired photo moment with our team.
No. A request is not a reservation or payment. Confirm availability and cost with our team.
For Puerta de Luna, build the visit around a gentle first meeting instead of a long sequence of activities. A birthday child can greet the character with a wave, choose a picture, or stay close to a familiar adult. Ask us about a simple program that leaves room for those choices; confirm details, cost, and availability with our team. Give the organizer a clear arrival point and a plan for where guests will wait. New Mexico advice here is statewide planning guidance, not confirmation of city facilities or policies.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
New Mexico State Parks directs visitors to specific park pages for group shelter reservations. Review the chosen facility's current conditions, operating information and alerts rather than applying one set of amenities to every park. Ask the operator about your gathering and hired entertainment before committing to the location.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
