Yes. Suggest watching, waving or standing beside a trusted adult for a photo, and follow the child's lead.
Confirm the exact facility, reservation steps, access and whether your gathering and hired entertainment are permitted.
No. Ask us about possibilities, then confirm availability, costs and the specific program with the theme provider.
For a Raccoon Key celebration, plan a warm greeting that works whether the child runs forward or needs time to watch. A parent can stay close while the character says hello, then the group can gather for a photo or a simple wave-around-the-circle activity. Keep decorations and the visit area easy to navigate, and prepare a quiet break option. Ask us about program ideas that might suit your plans; confirm the theme provider's details, costs and availability before finalizing the schedule.

Florida DEP describes the Florida Park Service and links to its state park information. Identify the exact state-managed property, then ask about the relevant group facility, reservation process and operating conditions. Describe hired entertainment to the operator before booking; the agency overview does not establish birthday eligibility, permission or availability at a particular park.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
