Let the character greet from a comfortable distance, with the child free to wave or watch first.
Offer a group wave or one easy pose, and let children choose whether to participate.
Share the child's name, preferred greeting, guest count, space details, and any timing limits with our team.
In Roaring Springs, make the character visit feel easy to follow by giving the birthday child a quiet first moment before inviting the group to join. A wave, a short hello, or a photo beside a familiar grown-up can help a hesitant child settle in. Ask us about a simple visit outline, then confirm program details, cost, and availability with our team. Before choosing an outdoor gathering spot, treat Texas guidance as statewide planning advice: check the exact facility's booking process and whether your planned activity is allowed. City facilities and policies have not been verified.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Texas Parks and Wildlife directs visitors to reserve group facilities by phone rather than assuming every booking can be completed online. Check the current process for the exact group facility and describe the gathering and hired entertainment to the park. A phone reservation route does not establish that the proposed party activity is eligible or available.

National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
