Let them watch, wave or stay beside a trusted adult. Keep the invitation open, and do not make a greeting or photo a requirement.
Give our team the location, expected arrival window and organizer contact. Confirm the venue's setup and entertainment rules, then leave a clear area for the greeting.
No. The booking process and permission for a character visit are separate. Check both with the operator and confirm visit details with our team.
A character visit in Roslyn, Washington, can feel welcoming without making the children follow a rigid routine. Start with a hello from the character, invite guests to wave or join a simple group moment, and keep photos optional. The organizer should decide where the visit fits and check how the gathering space is booked before setting arrival expectations. These are statewide planning checks, not verified Roslyn facilities or local policies. Confirm permission with the venue, and ask our team about program details, costs and availability.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Washington State Parks identifies reservation types that require its call center. Check the actual facility type and booking channel before trying to secure a picnic shelter or group space online. Verify access, setup and permission for hired entertainment separately with the operator; a reservation route is not event approval.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
