No. Ask the facility operator about permission for the gathering and hired entertainment, along with any setup requirements.
In Roy, Washington, a character visit can work well as one short part of a relaxed party. Welcome the character with the birthday child, then let guests decide whether to wave, ask a question or join a photo. A parent can help children who prefer to watch first. Ask us about a simple program and share any timing or access needs early. Confirm the requested theme, program details, cost and availability with our team, and verify venue arrangements with the operator.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Washington State Parks identifies reservation types that require its call center. Check the actual facility type and booking channel before trying to secure a picnic shelter or group space online. Verify access, setup and permission for hired entertainment separately with the operator; a reservation route is not event approval.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
