Yes. Tell guests they may greet the character, join a photo or simply watch from a comfortable spot.
Ask about the specific gathering space, access and permission for the planned activity. Statewide listings do not establish approval.
No. It does not reserve a visit or make a payment. Ask our team to confirm the requested program, cost and availability.
For a Rossmore gathering, picture the birthday child's first few minutes before planning the rest. A quiet hello and time to watch can make the character visit feel manageable; a child who is ready can join for a photo or a simple group activity. Choose one adult to help guests know when to gather and where to stand. If you are considering a state-managed property, confirm the exact facility and its rules before inviting guests. Ask us about the requested costume theme, and confirm program details, costs and availability with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
West Virginia DNR describes lodging options within its state parks and forests and links to the official park directory. Identify the exact state-managed property, then ask whether there is a reservable gathering space suitable for your proposed activity. Confirm access and hired entertainment rules; a lodging listing does not establish group-event eligibility or approval.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
