Invite the character to wave and say hello before approaching children. Let each child decide whether to greet them or stay with a caregiver.
Use one easy-to-find spot and keep turns brief. Offer a group photo as another choice, and do not require children to pose.
Share your timing, guest ages, access needs and activity preferences. Confirm the program, cost and availability with our team before making plans around it.
In Roulette, Pennsylvania, a character visit can have a gentle rhythm: a friendly greeting, time for photos and one short activity for children who want to join. Keep a nearby place for guests who prefer to watch, and give the organizer a clear schedule to share. If you are weighing a state park pavilion, verify the reservation and entertainment permissions directly; statewide information does not confirm a Roulette site or its rules. Ask us about program options and cost, then confirm details with our team.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Pennsylvania DCNR publishes payment conditions for confirmed state park picnic pavilion reservations. Check the current confirmation and cancellation process before treating a requested date as secured. Confirm the exact pavilion, access and permission for hired entertainment with its operator; the pavilion payment and the entertainer's quote are separate arrangements.

National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
