Let them watch, wave, or pass. A gentle invitation is enough, and the birthday child can choose the first interaction.
Choose the photo spot before the visit and take the birthday child's picture first. Invite guests in a few at a time.
Ask the facility operator about booking, access, and entertainment permission. Confirm the character program, costs, and availability with our team.
For a Round O gathering, plan a little breathing room around the birthday child's special moment. A character can begin with a wave or quiet hello, while guests wait nearby with the option to join later. Prepare one place for photos and keep the next activity simple. South Carolina's state park directory can help you inspect listed facilities, but no Round O venue or local policy is verified here. Contact the actual operator about access, reservations, and entertainment permission before arranging the visit.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
South Carolina State Parks provides an interactive map and filters for its park directory. Use the actual facility listings to check the space, seating, access and amenities required for your gathering. Ask the specific operator about reservations and hired entertainment; a map result is not a venue recommendation or approval for a party.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
