Questions? Call (866) 306-1384
Tell us your kid’s name and how to say it, what they love, and what makes them shy. Your notes go to the performer with the booking, so the hour is about your kid.
Still wondering? Call (866) 306-1384 and talk to a person.
Start with a group hello and let children decide whether to approach. A wave or a moment watching from a parent's side can be enough.
Choose a visible spot that does not block the entrance or activity area. Invite children to take turns, but let anyone pass without explanation.
Ask the venue about its reservation and activity rules. Ask us about the requested theme, program details, cost and availability; a date request is not a booking.
For a Ruby, South Carolina party, first think about what the gathering space needs to support: a comfortable greeting, room for guests to watch and a clear photo spot. Keep the character portion simple and flexible, with a chance for children to join a group moment or stay beside their grown-up. The organizer can reduce confusion by sharing the arrival instructions, the planned start time and any preferences about photos or guest interaction before the visit.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
South Carolina State Parks provides an interactive map and filters for its park directory. Use the actual facility listings to check the space, seating, access and amenities required for your gathering. Ask the specific operator about reservations and hired entertainment; a map result is not a venue recommendation or approval for a party.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
