Invite everyone to wave or join a group photo from their places. Give the birthday child the choice to approach when ready.
Share the requested theme, child's name, preferred greeting and a simple schedule. Confirm program details and timing before planning the rest of the party.
No. Ask us about the requested date, ZIP code, theme, cost and availability. The request is not a reservation or payment.
A relaxed Salter Path gathering can begin with the birthday child watching from a familiar adult's side. Invite a small wave first, then let them decide whether to come closer for a picture. Before setting the visit time, coordinate the party flow with the space's permitted hours, so the greeting and any optional activity fit without a rushed ending. Ask us to confirm the requested character theme, program details, cost and availability; a date and ZIP-code request does not secure a visit.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
North Carolina State Parks notes that facilities can have limited hours. Check the exact shelter or room's permitted use period, layout and reservation conditions before setting the entertainer's arrival and departure times. Ask the park about hired entertainment separately; a facility reservation does not establish approval for all party activities.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
