Let the child observe from a comfortable spot and join later if they choose. A wave from across the room counts as participation.
Ask one adult to guide the group and another to help with photos. Keep the activity short and leave room for breaks.
Share your date, preferred time window, age range, guest count and setting. Ask our team to confirm program details, costs and availability.
For a Schenevus celebration, think about the easiest place for children to gather and see the character without feeling crowded. A gentle hello, a birthday-child photo with a trusted adult and a brief group greeting provide a simple structure. Let children join from their seats if they prefer. Before contacting our team, note the ages, approximate guest count and likely setting so you can ask about a suitable visit window and confirm program details, costs and availability.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
New York State Parks describes a range of pavilion and event rental sizes and amenities. Check the exact facility's capacity, layout and regional booking conditions before choosing a gathering plan. Confirm whether a hired character visit and any equipment are permitted; the statewide rental page does not establish that every activity or date is available.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
