Offer a wave, a high-five, or watching from beside a trusted adult. Let the child choose without pressure.
Invite children to join one easy group gesture or song, while leaving room for anyone who prefers to watch.
Ask the character service about program details, costs and availability. Confirm venue permission separately with its operator.
In Seybold, Florida, plan the character visit around a simple child-led moment: a wave or hello first, then a photo if the birthday child feels ready. Keep the gathering easy to follow by asking the character service what program options, timing and costs are available, and confirm all details before making plans. Statewide guidance can help with an outdoor setting, but it does not verify Seybold venues or local policies. Prepare a clear meeting point, a nearby place to pause, and a short cue for guests about when to join in.

Florida DEP describes the Florida Park Service and links to its state park information. Identify the exact state-managed property, then ask about the relevant group facility, reservation process and operating conditions. Describe hired entertainment to the operator before booking; the agency overview does not establish birthday eligibility, permission or availability at a particular park.

National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
