No. Check gathering permission with the actual park and ask us to confirm character-visit details, cost, and availability.
In Shelbiana, start with the birthday child's comfort level when shaping the visit. They might welcome the character with a wave, share a short moment with family, or watch first before joining. Keep guest participation optional and set aside a spot where families can take photos without crowding the activity. Prepare the requested character theme, timing, group estimate, and venue plan before you ask us about a visit. Confirm program details, costs, and availability with our team; no request alone reserves a date.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
Kentucky State Parks' FAQ describes reservations for lodge rooms, cottages and campsites. If the plan includes an overnight stay, check the current booking and cancellation conditions for that accommodation. Contact the actual park about separate gathering space and hired entertainment; an overnight reservation does not establish birthday eligibility or event permission.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.
