Ask what they would enjoy most, such as a wave, a brief greeting or a photo. Keep that moment near the start, with no pressure to participate.
Prioritize the greeting and the child's preferred photo moment. Confirm timing with both the facility operator and our team.
Share the visit window, location and your preferred interaction. Confirm the theme-provider program details, cost and availability.
In Stovall, North Carolina, check the clock before shaping the character visit. A space with a limited permitted use period can make a short, well-paced greeting easier than a long program. Plan a wave and welcome first, then allow time for optional photos or a shared activity if included. Ask us about the requested character theme and confirm program details, cost and availability with our team. North Carolina State Parks notes that facilities can have limited hours. Check the exact shelter or room's permitted use period, layout and reservation conditions before setting the entertainer's arrival and departure times. Ask the park about hired entertainment separately; a facility reservation does not establish approval for all party activities.
Official source (opens in a new tab)For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup.
