For a Summitville, Ohio celebration, give the character visit a calm focal point rather than asking children to line up at once. Start with a group hello, offer a small shared moment, then let guests take turns for photos or watch from nearby. Choose an adult to follow weather guidance if you plan to be outdoors, and confirm any backup-space arrangements with the venue. Share your plan with our team and confirm program details, costs and availability. These are statewide planning checks, not verified Summitville venues or policies.
Useful rules and places to check, each with its official source.
For any outdoor gathering, arrange an accessible indoor backup before the party. National Weather Service guidance identifies buildings with wiring and plumbing as stronger protection; an open picnic shelter is not a lightning backup. This is national planning guidance, not a local venue rule.

National Weather Service guidance calls for a designated weather monitor; confirm a practical route to the backup space with the venue.
